Relationship Skills Bootcamp

$550 per Individual - $1,050 per Couple

Plan now to join us for a 2-day, online weekend Relationship Skills Bootcamp!
Couples, Individuals and Therapists are welcome.

This lively combination of lecture, role-play, group exercises, and personal work will enlighten and energize your relational journey.  Let us help you build the skills needed for the relationship you long for.

This is an authorized presentation of Terry Real's Essential Skills Relationship Bootcamp facilitated by:

Bonnie Ray Kennan, Psy.D., LMFT, Dr. Karen Greenhouse, MFT, CSAT, and Angela Soper, LCSW, all
Master Certified Relational Life Therapists.

We welcome all individuals and couples regardless of race, sexual preference, or religion.

INDIVIDUALS AND COUPLES WILL LEARN HOW TO:

  • Use Terry Real’s Relationship Grid to understand and step out of their relationship struggles
  • Practice healthy self-esteem and boundaries
  • Be connected and protected in relationships
  • Recognize Five Losing Relational Strategies™
  • Practice the Five Winning Relational Strategies™
  • Develop healthy Listening and Speaking skills
  • Identify how they get stuck in patterns with their partner
  • Learn strategies for resolving conflicts

THERAPISTS WHO ATTEND WILL LEARN:

  • The skills necessary to teach couples how to assess losing strategies and how to move to the winning strategies
  • How to teach the practice of self esteem and to use protective/containing boundaries to be connected and protected in relationships
  • How to give couples the tools of relational empowerment so that each partner can be lovingly assertive, open up to one another and be present in the relationship

Therapists who participate in this workshop learn tools and strategies first hand. This is the best way to learn techniques that you will ultimately teach your own clients. There is no “observation” for therapists, everyone is a participant. Come by yourself or with your partner.

RLT therapists in training may count this Bootcamp towards certification requirements. CEU’s available to therapist participants for an additional fee of $40 at R. Cassidy Seminars.

Angela Soper, LCSW is a therapist who has a private practice here in the Heights. She graduated from Texas Tech in 1986 with a BA in psychology and then obtained her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin in 1990. She has been a licensed clinician in Connecticut, California and now in Texas.

Angela has a variety of clinical experiences. She has worked in non-profit agencies, hospitals and a university, all doing psychotherapy dealing with a variety of issues. She was an adjunct faculty member at Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education Psychology for eight years before moving to Texas. Her areas of expertise are marital therapy and trauma, but her passion is working with couples.

She was trained by Terry Real, a relationship expert and founder of Relational Life Therapy and the author of The New Rules of Marriage. She has extensive experience working with difficult couples, as well as helping couples heal after an affair. In 2008 she was introduced to Collaborative Divorce. Knowing that not all marriages can be mended, she saw CD as a respectful and dignified way of helping a couples divorce. Angela is also trained in EMDR and uses that adjunctively in her work with healing trauma.
