About Dr. Greenhouse

Karen Greenhouse, Ph.D., MFT, CSAT, is founder of The Institute for Couples Counseling, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist with over four decades in the health care field. She is a Couples Counseling Specialist in the field of mental health which speaks directly to her focus over the past 17 years in obtaining advanced training in her work with couples.

Dr. Greenhouse trained directly with three of the most highly acclaimed therapists in the field: Terrence Real, LCSW, John Gottman, Ph.D., and Patrick Carnes, Ph.D.
Dr. Greenhouse is regarded as one of a select few Couples Therapists who treats extremely complex marital issues, Sexual Addiction and couples in crisis.
